Batch production is the process of manufacturing designs in low quantities. It affords smaller companies the freedom to react spontaneously to new market opportunities by negating the need for substantial economic and technological investment.

Multiple aims to demonstrate how designers from diverse disciplines can utilise batch production processes to realise new concepts, expand critical relationships with manufacturers and minimise the risk of experimental practice.

Invite only preview at 7pm on Thursday 14th May 2009.

The exhibition will be open as part of the Late Shows from 7pm - 11pm on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th May, before opening to the public for two weeks as part of the 36 Lime Street Gallery programme, finishing on Saturday 30th May.

Multiple will take place in the 36 Lime Street Gallery, Ouseburn
